eyeliner on the lower lash line

A kajal is the name for a line on the lower lash line. Kajal pencils usually have a more compact consistency than eyeliner, ie they can be hard, soft, creamy, but are usually not liquid. Because of the lower lashes, drawing a line on the lower lash line with a liquid product is very difficult.

If you accentuate your lower lash line with a kajal, your eyes will have more contour towards the bottom and your eye area will have more expression.

Expert tip: Don't draw the eyeliner all the way to the inner corner of your eye, but leave the front 1/3 of your eye free. This will emphasize the outer corner of your eye and give your eyes a beautiful almond shape.

White eyeliner on the lower waterline - exception!

The opaque white eyeliner is an exception. It is ideal for making your eyes appear larger. To do this, apply the eyeliner in strokes along the lower waterline (on the inner edge). Since the inner edge of the eye is often very moist, we recommend that you use the white eyeliner twice - this way it will last all day.

An eyeliner is the name for an eyeliner on the upper lash line. The eyeliner / eyeliner is applied from above onto the movable eyelid directly along the upper lash line. With an eyeliner you can draw focus to the upper lash line and to your upper eyelashes.

Expert tip: If you have chosen a dark color as eyeliner, do not draw it all the way to the inner corner of your eye, but leave the front 1/3 of your eye free. Alternatively, you can choose a light color as eyeliner for the front 1/3 of your eye, which will make your eyes appear larger and brighter.

Kajal on the upper waterline - Tightlining

You can also use the kajal on the upper waterline (tightlining). This will make your eyelashes appear thicker. However, applying the kajal on the inner upper lash line takes a little practice, as it tickles a little and makes you blink quickly.

If you want to try it out, be sure to use a black eyeliner pencil . This goes perfectly with black mascara and makes your eyelashes look thicker.

The COSLINE Kajal / Eyeliner can be used - as the name suggests - both as a kohl and as an eyeliner. For beginners, it is easier to use a kohl pencil as an eyeliner, as it is easier to correct than, for example, a liquid eyeliner. In addition, you can blend a kohl pencil better as an eyeliner if you want a softer line.

A liquid eyeliner is more suitable for a precise, straight line. If you want to draw an eyeliner with a liquid eyeliner, the line has to be right and shouldn't be blurred. This takes a bit of practice.

Expert tip: It takes a little more practice to achieve the perfect liquid eyeliner. So try a liquid eyeliner whenever you have time and peace of mind, the result does not have to be perfect and you want to go out.
