Lipliner Tips for Full Lips
With a Lipliner, you can precisely define your lip contour, make your lips appear fuller, and prevent lipstick from smudging.
With the right technique, achieving a natural and long-lasting result is easy, even if you are a makeup beginner.
The concealer ensures that the lip color lasts longer and the lip contour looks especially clean. At the same time, the slightly lightened area around the lips makes them appear fuller.
Then connect the individual lines to the corners of your mouth. This creates an even and natural lip contour.
Step 3: Make lips appear fuller
If you have thin lips, you can slightly extend the contour beyond your natural lip line.
Important: Less is more. Just a little is enough to make the lips appear fuller. Also, make sure to maintain the shape of your natural lips so the result looks harmonious.
Step 4: Correct the contour
Smile with your mouth slightly open in the mirror. This will reveal small uneven areas or gaps. Correct these spots with the Lipliner to make the contour look even.
If the contour is not quite perfect in one spot, it can be easily corrected. Apply some liquid concealer to the area and gently blend it with your finger. This creates clean and precise lines.
Step 5: Fill in lips
After drawing the lip contour, you can fill in your lips.
For an especially long-lasting result, you can apply the Lipliner over the entire lips. This gives an even color that lasts for many hours.
Alternatively, you can apply a matching lipstick within the contour. This gives a slightly softer finish and additional color options. Which Lipliner and lipsticks go particularly well together is shown in this blog post.
Step 6: Create extra volume
For the final touch, you can apply a light highlighter directly above the cupid’s bow. The subtle shimmer reflects the light and makes the upper lip appear fuller.

Beginne mit einem sanften Ansatz: Ziehe den Lidstrich in kleinen, kurzen Strichen, anstatt ihn auf einmal zu ziehen. Das gibt dir mehr Kontrolle und ermöglicht es dir, die Form nach deinen Wünschen anzupassen.
Hebe das Lid leicht an: Wenn du den Lidstrich auf dem oberen Lid ziehst, kannst du dein Lid leicht anheben, um die Fläche zu glätten. Das macht es einfacher, die Linie gleichmäßig zu ziehen.
Setze auf einen sanften Look: Statt einen strengen, dickeren Lidstrich zu ziehen, könnte ein dünnerer, leicht verlaufender Lidstrich optisch jünger wirken. Du kannst auch den äußeren Teil des Auges etwas betonen und in Richtung der Augenbraue leicht anheben.
Verblenden: Wenn du möchtest, kannst du die Linie am unteren Lid sanft mit einem Pinsel oder einem Wattestäbchen verblenden, um einen weicheren Look zu erzielen.
