5 Tips for a Fresh Summer Make-Up
Here we show you a few tips on how you can conjure up even more freshness on your face during the hot season:
sunscreen
The best protection in summer is and remains sunscreen. Not only to protect the skin from the sun's rays, but also to prevent wrinkles.
Make-up foundations with a sun protection factor are usually not strong enough to adequately protect the skin on your face during a day outdoors. In contrast to other parts of your skin, your face is very exposed to the sun. That's why it's important to always start with sunscreen in the summer.
The sunscreen must be well absorbed before you apply any more makeup. Otherwise, your makeup will not stay on well and will run very quickly. Before you apply makeup, you can dab off any cream residue from the eye area with a cotton swab or cosmetic tissue.
foundation face
In summer, foundation is often too much. One alternative is definitely concealer . You don't have to spread it evenly over your whole face, but you can cover the areas you want to correct. For example, to brighten your eye area.
You can use either a liquid concealer or a creamy concealer such as the Make-Up Duo Stick . This also makes it easy to conceal blemishes on your face. Simply apply the color directly with the stick and then blend it in with your fingers. Thanks to the creamy consistency, it ensures an even complexion and you don't have the feeling that you have too many layers on your face. This type of concealer is also very practical for vacation, as it doesn't take up much space in your suitcase :)
powder
If you have a nice tan, it is advisable to use just powder . This will mattify your face, especially if your skin is a little shiny due to the sunscreen.
eye makeup
In summer, colorful eye make-up is a real eye-catcher. Be brave and use color - you will receive many compliments for it.
Before you apply the colour, we recommend that you apply an eyeshadow primer (e.g. Shadow Base) , especially in summer. This way you can be sure that your eye make-up won't smudge even in hot temperatures. If you have droopy eyelids (i.e. from the late 30s onwards), this is a must anyway! The primer ensures that your eyeshadow and eyeliner stay in place, even when you sweat.
Now the color comes into play
When choosing the color of your kohl and/or eyeliner in summer, the motto is: bright colors bring freshness to your face!
Be brave and combine different colors with each other. For example, use emerald green as eyeliner and purple as kohl. Try it out, it looks really nice.
For summer make-up, waterproof mascara is of course a must. It lasts all day without smudging, even in hot temperatures.

With the hot temperatures now in summer, it often happens that your eye make-up smears due to heat, sweat and moisture. You don't have to buy a highlighter separately, you can also create beautiful highlights with light, shiny eye shadows (e.g. the Eyeshadow Champagne 3 0 5 or the Kajal / Eyeliner Champagne 114 . If you prefer something more subtle, you can simply add a highlight to the inner corner of the eye and below the eyebrow. This is very subtle, but creates a beautiful effect. For a little more glow, the highlighter can also be applied to the cheekbones and above the cupid's bow.

Ich lese gerade eure Sommerschminktips . Da ich mich seit meinem 15. Lebensjahr schminke und mittlerweile 71 bin ,bin ich nicht unerfahren. Also Tios wie abtupfen oder Lidschattengrundierung sind bei mir Standard
Ich finde eure Farben ,besonders den Smaragdton traumhaft. Nur bei mir hält nichts. Leider nicht. Ich hab verschiedene Farben. Erklärt mir doch bitte nochmal wann ihr zwischen Kajal und Eyelinerstift unterscheidet
Auf dem Bild sieht es so aus als hättet ihr nur einen Kajal benutzt und das Lid bleibt ohne Farbe?

Man kann dabei nicht nur einiges über dekorative Kosmetik lernen sondern nach einem langen Arbeitstag auch wunderbar abschalten.
Da ich bereits 65 Jahre alt bin,verwende ich lieber dezente Farben.
Das Video mit dem Jane Fonda Look trifft genau meine Vorstellung von anspruchsvoller Kosmetik für Frauen in meinem Alter.
