5 Tips for a Fresh Summer Make-Up
Here are a few tips on how to bring even more freshness to your face during the hot season:
Sunscreen
The best protection in summer remains sunscreen. Not only to protect your skin from sun exposure but also to prevent fine lines.
Foundation bases with SPF are usually too low to adequately protect your facial skin during a day outdoors. The face, unlike other skin areas, is very exposed to the sun. That’s why it’s important to always start with sunscreen in summer.
The sunscreen must be fully absorbed before you continue with your makeup. Otherwise, your foundation won’t hold well and will smudge quickly. Before applying makeup, you can dab away any cream residue around the eyes with a cotton swab or cosmetic tissue.
Face Foundation
In summer, foundation is often too much. A good alternative is a concealer. You don’t have to apply it all over your face but can cover specific spots you want to correct, for example, to brighten your eye area.
You can use either a liquid concealer or a creamy concealer. With the creamy one, you can also easily cover blemishes. Simply apply the color directly with the stick on the spots and blend with your fingers. Thanks to the creamy texture, it creates an even complexion without feeling like you have too many layers on your face. Also, the concealer is perfect for travel as it doesn’t take up much space in your suitcase.
Powder
If you have a nice tan, it’s recommended to use just a powder. This mattifies your face, especially if your skin shines a bit from the sunscreen.
Eye Makeup
In summer, colorful eye makeup is a real eye-catcher. Dare to use color, you’ll get lots of compliments!
Before applying color, we especially recommend applying an eyeshadow base in summer (e.g., the Shadow Base). This ensures your eye makeup won’t smudge even in hot temperatures. For hooded eyelids, it’s a must! The base makes your eyeshadow and eyeliner hold firmly, even if you sweat.
Now the color comes into play
The motto for eyeliner in summer is: colorful shades bring freshness to your face!
Dare to combine different colors. For example, an emerald green as eyeliner and Lila as eyeliner pencil. Try it out, it looks very beautiful.
For summer makeup, a waterproof Mascara is a must. It lasts all day without smudging, even in hot temperatures.
Smudge- and waterproof products
In the hot summer temperatures, it often happens that your eye makeup smudges due to heat, sweat, and moisture. With COSLINE eyeliners, this no longer happens because they are smudge- and waterproof! So you can be sure your eye makeup stays exactly where it belongs all day long.

Set highlights for a beautiful glow

You don’t even need to buy a highlighter; you can also create beautiful highlights with light, shiny eyeshadow (e.g., with the Eyeshadow Champagner 305 or the Kajal / Eyeliner Champagner 114). If you prefer a subtle look, just add a highlight to the inner corner of the eye and under the eyebrow. It’s very subtle but creates a beautiful effect. For a bit more glow, the highlighter can also be applied to the cheekbones and above the cupid’s bow.

Ich lese gerade eure Sommerschminktips . Da ich mich seit meinem 15. Lebensjahr schminke und mittlerweile 71 bin ,bin ich nicht unerfahren. Also Tios wie abtupfen oder Lidschattengrundierung sind bei mir Standard
Ich finde eure Farben ,besonders den Smaragdton traumhaft. Nur bei mir hält nichts. Leider nicht. Ich hab verschiedene Farben. Erklärt mir doch bitte nochmal wann ihr zwischen Kajal und Eyelinerstift unterscheidet
Auf dem Bild sieht es so aus als hättet ihr nur einen Kajal benutzt und das Lid bleibt ohne Farbe?

Man kann dabei nicht nur einiges über dekorative Kosmetik lernen sondern nach einem langen Arbeitstag auch wunderbar abschalten.
Da ich bereits 65 Jahre alt bin,verwende ich lieber dezente Farben.
Das Video mit dem Jane Fonda Look trifft genau meine Vorstellung von anspruchsvoller Kosmetik für Frauen in meinem Alter.
