Step 1: Foundation

To start contouring, first apply a foundation to create an even base. For this, we use the Firming Make-Up.

Step 2: Concealer

Then you can apply the Concealer liquid 919 precisely to the areas of your face you want to emphasize. Blend it carefully to achieve a natural result.

For a slimmer nose, apply the Concealer along the bridge of your nose. Under the eyes, it helps to conceal dark shadows and open up the gaze. Apply a touch of Concealer over the eyes to lift the eye area and visually lift it upwards. Highlight the cupid's bow and chin to make them appear fuller and more defined.

Step 3: Powder

After blending the Concealer, it's time to set the contour with Powder. Take a Powder Brush and apply the Sun Powder matt 773 where you want to visually recede areas of your face.

If you want a slimmer face shape, apply the Powder below the cheekbones. However, avoid dragging the color down to the lip and instead blend it in the middle of the cheekbone. Smudge the line upwards to create a soft transition. Use a clean brush or sponge to blend the transitions and achieve a seamless finish.

Then you can also contour your nose with some Powder to make it look slimmer and more defined. Blend this carefully to achieve a more natural appearance. A thinner brush like the Blender Brush 803 is suitable here.

Depending on your face shape, you can also contour along the hairline with some Powder to make the face appear more oval. Make sure the contour looks natural and is blended softly.

If you have a round face, you can apply some Powder along the lower edge of your chin to visually recede it slightly and create a harmonious face shape.

It is important to remember that every face is unique. Therefore, it is crucial to consider your individual face shape. Experiment with different contouring techniques to find out which ones suit you best. Emphasize your strengths and find the right balance between highlighting and minimizing.

The basic rule is: Everything you darken visually recedes, everything you lighten stands out.
