How to apply eye shadow quickly and easily:
Do you always see how beautiful other people's eyeshadow looks, i.e. the eye shadow on the upper eyelid? And would you like to achieve the same effect yourself, even though you're a complete beginner? Here you can see step by step how to do it.
1) The skin on the upper eyelid should not be too greasy or too oily
Otherwise, your eye shadow may settle in the crease of your upper eyelid, and that doesn't look nice! So just take a tissue and gently dab the upper eye area to remove any grease from your skin.
2) Prepare the eyelid with an eyeshadow primer
The Shadow Base ensures that your eye shadow lasts longer and the colors are brighter. It is skin-colored with a slight shimmer and is not noticeable at all. Simply take a little out of the jar with your finger and spread it over the entire eyelid.
3) As a beginner, use subtle colors first
A light brown or grey tone is best for this. You can't go wrong with this and you can slowly venture into more striking colours.
Take the Eyeshadow Muskat 304 and imagine a line about halfway down the upper eyelid. To make it easier at the beginning, you can also mark this line.
To help you draw the line, you can either lift your eye area with your finger or pull your eyebrows upwards.
Starting from this middle line, draw a triangle to the back corner of the eye. Now apply the brown color completely to this triangle.
If you are a little older, apply the eyeshadow up to the bone towards the eyebrow. Otherwise, the eyeshadow will not be visible when your eyes are open normally.
IMPORTANT: Pay attention to the line from the outer corner of the eye to the end of the eyebrow. You should not apply makeup over this line, otherwise the eye will be visually pulled downwards.
4) Blend the color with a blender brush
Now you take the blender brush and blend the eyeshadow in circular movements. To do this, don't hold the brush at the very front, but rather in the middle of the handle so that it rests loosely in your hand.
The more and the longer you wipe the paint with the brush, the lighter and softer it becomes.
5) Create a transition from the brown color
To create a soft transition of the brown color towards the eye, use the Eyeshadow Golden Sand 301 (or another bright eyeshadow such as the Eyeshadow Champagne 305 , Sun 306 or Rosewood 307 ).
Now apply this light eyeshadow in the front “triangle” up to the corner of the eye.
To create a soft transition between the two colors used, the blender brush is used again. Simply wipe in circular movements along the edge between the light and dark colors. This will make the colors blend beautifully into one another.
You've created a beautiful eyeshadow so quickly.
To emphasize your eyes even more, you can apply a kohl pencil at the bottom and an eyeliner at the top (Tip: With our eyeliner you have a product for both.)
