Lifting Eyeliner for Hooded Eyes – Step-by-Step Guide

Preparation

Choose the right color
Instead of deep black, use a softer shade like Aubergine – it looks softer and more natural on mature skin.

Position the mirror correctly
Make sure you look straight into the mirror without pulling up the eyelid with your fingers – this way you see the natural shape of your eye.

Applying Eyeliner Correctly

Start around the middle of the upper lash line. This avoids making the eye look smaller.

Apply in small strokes
Draw the eyeliner in small sections along the lash line to maintain control – especially on slightly wrinkled skin.

Lift the wing
Instead of following the natural eyelid line, angle the eyeliner steeply upward from the outer third.

✨ Tip: The wing can point exaggeratedly upward – it will later be "pressed down" by the eyelid fold and then look just right.

Open your eyes normally from time to time and look in the mirror:
Do you see the wing? If not, adjust it slightly higher so it remains visible even when your gaze is relaxed.

Additional Freshness Boost Highlight in the Inner Eye Corner
Apply a light shade like Champagner in the inner corner of the eye – this opens and refreshes the look even more.
