Here's how to apply makeup when you're over 50:

Together with Nicola, we will create a quick and easy daytime make-up for green eyes. The focus is not just on the eyes, but we start with basic make-up to create an even face. Follow us step by step as you can easily create a fresh look.

1. Firming make-up for a more even appearance
Start with the firming make-up and apply it with your fingers. This is the quickest way and the colour will lay down nicely on the skin. First, spread it from the nose outwards. You can pat the make-up in around the nose.

2. Fill in eyebrows naturally
Use a brown shade, ideally grey-brown, to accentuate the eyebrows. Apply the colour in strokes using the Chocolate 121 eyebrow pencil and blend it gently for a natural look. This gives your face expression and emphasises the natural arch of the eyebrows . Then gently spread the colour with your finger.

3. Dragonfly eye make-up for green eyes
If you have green eyes, be sure to try the color Dragonfly . This is a shimmer of green, gold and brown.
Apply the color to the base of the eyelashes as a kajal. Complement this with an eyeliner on the eyelid and a subtle wing for an elegant daytime look.

Next, apply the eyeliner in the color Champagne 114 in the corner of the eye and apply it over the darker color to create a beautiful gradient from light to dark.

A little tip: If you apply the light color under the eyebrows, the eye area will be optically lifted upwards.
For separated and defined lashes, apply mascara to your lashes with the Mascara Black Rubber Brush 91 . This gives your look expression and opens the eyes.

4. Finishing touch with concealer, powder and lipstick
If necessary, use a concealer to brighten the eye area. To do this, dab the color in gently and sparingly.
For a sun-kissed complexion, apply the Sun Powder matt as a blusher to your cheeks and forehead. Finally, add a touch of color to your lips with a subtle lipstick. We used the Tizian lipstick here.
