Droopy eyelids are a big problem for many women. They make the eyes look small, tired or even sad, even though that is not the case. But we women would rather have big, fresh and radiant eyes!
In advertisements you see young models with beautiful eyeliner and eye shadow that fits perfectly on their large eyes. Unfortunately, this is not possible with droopy eyelids. But what can you do to make the droopy eyelids disappear visually or at least make a little bit of the makeup visible on the upper eyelid?
Make-up instructions for drooping eyelids that you can use immediately:
1) Do not use black eyeliner on the upper eyelid, as the dark color will make your eyelid look even more downwards. If you still want to use eyeliner, apply it as thinly as possible and not too broadly along the upper lash line. Use a liquid eyeliner with a very fine brush.
2) Take a cosmetic tissue or a handkerchief and dab the skin on the eyelid so that there are no oily residues on the eyelid. Now apply a
shadow base to the entire eyelid as an eyeshadow primer. This will make the eyeshadow color last longer and not smudge.
3) Pull up your eyelid. Use your fingers if necessary. Now apply a light brown eyeshadow (e.g.
Eyeshadow Muskat 304 ) from halfway up the back of the eyelid in a trapezoid shape (see graphic). The trapezoid must be applied above the eye bone, i.e. relatively high up, so that you can see the eyeshadow color even if you look straight ahead into the mirror without pulling your eyes up like you do when applying makeup. Now blend the color with your fingers or a small brush so that the transition between the eyeshadow and the skin is softer.
4) Then lift your overlapping eyelid and also make up your natural eyelid crease and the entire skin in that area in this shade.
5) Now apply a light eyeshadow (e.g.
Eyeshadow Champagne 305 ) to the front part of the trapeze and blend the two colors together to create a beautiful color gradient.
6) Make sure to apply the champagne-colored eyeshadow all the way around the inner corner of your eye, including just below the inner corner. This will instantly make your eyes look bigger and more awake.
7) To further distract from the drooping eyelids, you should apply a highlighter directly under the eyebrows. You can use the
Eyeshadow Champagne 305 again. This will immediately visually lift the area under the eyebrows.
8) You should never use a dark color for the eyeliner on the lower edge of your eyes, otherwise your eyes will appear smaller. Instead, use a light, fresh color to make your eyes shine:
9) Last but not least, a bold look is important. Apply a thick coat of mascara to your eyelashes that gives them a beautiful curl, e.g.
Mascara Black Wonderlash 93 .
